GENERAL BOAT RENTAL TERMS

Required to embark :
To know swimming.
Have no contraindications to sailing.
For minor child : a parental permission form and, if necessary an authorization to travel to a foreign country.

Reservation and payment terms :
Your inscription will be registered upon receipt of this registration form and payment of the first instalment : 33% of the agreement. Balance : prior to departure.
The price for the term of the rental includes the following : the boat and its equipment, experienced skipper, cabins, insurance.
Fuel, harbour tolls and food during the rental period are at the renter's expense.
To take part in a regatta, an updated FFV (Féderation Française de Voile) license is necessary.

Cancellation :
If the renter cancels the agreement for whatever reason prior to the contracted period, the renter will not be entitled to any refund of any instalment payments already made.
Should the renter choose not to use the boat during the entire rental period, the renter will not be entitled to any partial refund of the full payment for the boat; However, the renter may find an other renter.
If the subject boat upon delivery cannot cruise due lack of an essential security part or failure to comply with local regulations, the renter may cancel this agreement and receive a full reimbursement of the contract. The renter will not be entitled to any further compensation.

Insurance :
The company has in force a Multirisk insurance, civil responsibility insurance and personal accidental injury insurance.
However, the insurance does not cover loss or damage of any personal property belonging to the renter and passengers .
In case of careless or voluntary material deterioration of equipment (sails, top sides, cabin furniture, electronic devices...) or loss of equipment (binoculars, compass, boat hook, cranks...) replacement of the equipment will be the renter's entire responsibility.

Weather forecast and security :
In case of bad weather conditions, the skipper may decide not to set sail or change navigation schedule
The navigation schedule may also be altered if boat repairs are needed and if any damage occurs during rental period without any compensation.
Smoking is strictly forbidden on board.

Personal equipment :
Oilskin suit, rubber boots, deck shoes, sleeping bag, sun glasses ,cap, sun cream, warm clothes, bonnet.
